Working Together

Group Photo Small BLURBGlory to God, parish life at the St. Alexander Nevsky parish has been flourishing, with an increased number of divine services, performed by four priests and three deacons. Our services are sung beautifully by both our parish choir and male choir, and we have held more large-scale services and events than ever before. Our parish school has almost doubled since last year, where our children study the Law of God and Russian language and history.

Proskomedia: Commemoration of the Living & the Departed
Proskomedia Original smallAs is customary in the Orthodox tradition, the proskomedia is served to commemorate the names of our loved ones; for the health of the living and the souls of the departed. With this option, your commemoration book will be kept in the altar and read at all Divine and Presanctified Liturgies for one year, meaning that your loved ones will be commemoration and prayed for at least 120 times per year, if not more, and during the five Soul Saturdays.

Vigil Lamp Dedication
Lampada Original smallThis year long dedication is an honored tradition in our parish. Your dedication provides lamp oil for the lampada, and the flame represents the prayers of you and your loved ones before the holy icons.
