The St. Alexander Foundation will be hosting a brunch this Sunday, Nov. 23rd, following Liturgy, in gratitude to all who volunteered at this year's Russian & Slavic Cultural Festival. All volunteers are welcome. Following the brunch the Foundation will give a short re-cap of the end results of this year's festival.

On Sunday, October 19th the CHILDREN'S CHOIR of the Holy Trinity Orphanage from Saraktash, Siberia , will sing the Divine Liturgy. Following there will be a concert of FOLK SONGS AND DANCES at the parish hall.
This concert will be presented in conjunction with the ANNUAL COSSACKS' DAY. Admission for DINNER and CONCERT is $20 per person. Proceeds will go for the benefit of the orphaned children.

All of our young parishioners are cordially invited to attend our first Orthodox Youth Interaction Meeting at 4:00 pm, on Sun., November 2nd, at the St. Alexander Nevsky Parish Center! Today at 9:30am, on the feast day of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God, subdeacon Anthony Beliaeff reposed in the Lord. The family of the reposed is asking that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral to finish a project recently started by Anton.

On the 5th Sunday of Pascha, May 25th, 2008, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, the newly enthroned First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad will lead the Divine Liturgy at our Cathedral. The greeting and vesting of His Eminece will take place at 9:30 AM followed by the Divine Liturgy. A festive banquet will follow.
